My journey to Islam

Asalaam alicum everyone ^_^.....
my revert story isnt as interesting as others but thought it would be a good idea to share anyways xx. I met my hubz when i was 16 & for two yrs he toke me to a sheikh to ask any questions that i had & gave me books on Islam, it toke me a while before i started accepting books from him as i had all these misconceptions about Islam but when i found out a few of my misconceptions wasn't true i wanted to find out more. Thru research I was amazed to find how all my misconceptions were untrue and was curious to learn more but i wasn't at the stage of saying i want to revert. i said to my hubz that Christianity, Judaism & Islam are all similar...so why is that? & how do i know which one is the truth & he told me that the Quran is the last revelation of Allah swt. I didn't understand that until i read a verse in the Quran(i forgot the actual reference & exacts words but do know its in there) that Allah swt sent the injeel/torah and sent the Quran as the last revelation and sent messengers to every tribe and nation.....so to me that made sense...that when people deviated from the truth & they changed it... Allah sent another revelation. Upon reading about the many scientific,historic, mathematical & literary miracles of the Quran & the high status women have in Islam, it then became apparent to me that the Quran is the word of Allah & Islam is the one & only true religion

Asalaam alicum my beautiful sisters..^_^...it may come as a little downer to some to speak about a couple of points concerning hijab(which is dress code) but its good to have reminders as we all need that from time to time ♥ .A few good tips to bear in mind when looking to add style to ones wardrobe is to try & make sure  that dresses are not clingy but flowing so inshallah one's body shape is not showing. Its great to have stlye but lets not to cross the boundaries where is too flashy & tight fitting or else the basic general guidelines of an Islamic women's dress code is not really being followed.....with that said, I hope you all enjoy looking at the outfits ^_^
